Fuel Systems Plant
A large number of Smart Frames with Smart Product Controllers were implemented in a variety of configurations – bench level, floor level, dual frame and rear bin feed. These are linked via DeviceNet, controlled by Allen-Bradley PLCs, for failsafing an engine manufacturer in Indiana’s fuel pump assembly process. Implementing this system reduced their average cycle time from 96 hours to 4 hours.
