Protocol Converter
A barcode verification solution was installed at an automobile manufacturing plant in Lordstown, OH. An airbag serial number is scanned via a holographic scanner and used by the Smart Product Controller to validate proper serial number format and uniqueness, and to reformat and transmit data. A stack light is illuminated green for valid, red for invalid scans, with an alarm sounding for error conditions.
